One way is to install Picup from the App store http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/picup/id354101378?m...

Then you can choose a pic or take a new one and upload it. The app will give you a URL, copy that link so that you can paste it.

Go to the News Feed, or to your profile and click 'Link'

Paste the link that you got from Picup into that text box, then click 'Attach'.
